And it looks as if we are opening with Big Show coming out to do who knows what, talk, fight, cry or all of the above. Well we got talking down as he complains about doing bad things to good people then shows clips of him knocking out Daniel Bryan, The Miz, and Dusty Rhodes. If those clips count we have crying and fighting down too. He says that he did them because he had no alternative because the job is being held over his head. He says that he is trying to do what is best for his family and he wont ask for forgiveness but at least wants understanding. He is now questioning his manhood and then he goes on about his anger and frustration and how he threatened to knock out HHH on Monday but he didn’t because he would have been fired. Tonight he is facing The Shield in a 3 on 1 handicap in a match I for one have seen at least 7 times.  Out comes HHH to yell probably. Here it is, he says that he is ashamed of the man who Big Show has become and how he feels the need to question his authority. Big Shows personal and financial problems and marital and the fact that his house is about to be repossessed. Apparently HHH paid off his mortgage and that he now owes HHH money and if he doesn’t get his act together he will be living in his house. He now changes the match to Big Show vs The Shield and Randy Orton. I am the only one who likes Fall Out Boy as the theme for Battleground.

Fandango w/Summer Rae vs. RVD w/Ricardo

JBL asked Cole if he “Fandangoed” at home and he responded by saying he used to. When JBL asked him why he stopped he said it was weird when his neighbors saw. Since I too am going to support Breast Cancer Awareness month, from here on out I will be doing the first hour of Smackdown in pink. Fandango starts off by dancing and then RVD goes for his thing and Fandango kicks him and gets in control quickly to start. RVD turns around Fandango in the corner and hits a monkey flip. Fandango tosses RVD to the apron then sends him crashing to the floor. RVD hits a thrust kick to the chin of Fandango then takes him down with clotheslines and a kick to the face. RVD hits Rolling Thunder on Fandango and goes to the top rope. Summer Rae pulls RVD down resulting in the DQ.

WInner: RVD via DQ

I really don’t want to see RVD as the World Heavyweight Champion. He has done absolutely nothing to deserve it. The only way I’ll take him as champion is if Sandow cashes in directly after the match. Fandango is now just a glorified Midcarder.

Fandango continues the assault on RVD until Ricardo distracts him allowing RVD to nail him with a DDT. The crowd chants ECW and RVD grabs a trash can, puts it on Fandango’s face and then hits the Van Terminator.

Ryback w/Paul Heyman vs. R-Truth

Ryback hates bullies and then Truth hits Ryback and knocks him down. The crowd seems pretty loud…almost as if the volume has been boosted. Ryback kicks Truth when he’s down and then continues saying that he hates bullies. Truth gets a few punches in and then a kick. Truth covers Ryback for a near fall. Truth goes for the scissor kick but Ryback hits the Meat Hook. Ryback lifts up Truth and nails him with a Shell Shock and covers him for the win.

Winner: Ryback via Pinfall

Wow R-Truth lost quick. That match was less than 5 minutes long. I just cannot see him winning the Intercontinental Championship. Ryback is still just as stiff as ever.

Curtis Axel comes out and cheap shots Truth and then reminds him that he is the Intercontinental Champion, you know just in case Ryback gave him a concussion.

Backstage: Del Rio apparently has never been in a hardcore rules match which is a complete lie. He was in one with Jack Swagger earlier this year. RVD gives Del Rio the trash can that he broke as a present.

Alberto Del Rio vs. Dolph Ziggler

You can watch the Battleground Kickoff on everything ever made apparently. Ziggler quickly rolls up Del Rio but of course he kicks out. Ziggler does it again to the same results. Cole and JBL yell for Sandow to cash in right now. Ziggler hits a huge kick and Del Rio rolls out of the ring. Sandow says he could cash in a year from now but unfortunately it would have timed out by then so he can’t. Del Rio kicks him and covers him but another kick out. Del Rio tosses Ziggler into the metal barricade. On commentary they are ripping apart Sandow on commentary. Ziggler hits a huge dropkick sending Del Rio down to the floor. They just wont stop asking Sandow to cash in now which would be hard because he is in the middle of a match. Ziggler nails an AWESOME facebuster from the top rope. Both superstars exchange kicks and punches. Ziggler takes him down with a neckbreaker and then gets hit with a backbreaker from Del Rio. Del Rio climbs to the top rope only to be nailed with a dropkick and kick out of yet another pinning predicament. Del Rio nails an enzuguri on Ziggler and yet another kick out. Ziggler counters a superplex with a sunset flip from the top rope into another nearfall. Ziggler locks in the sleeper and but Del Rio breaks free. Del Rio hits a top rope stomp and then goes for the kick, Ziggler rolls him up and Del Rio kicks out and hits him with a kick. Del Rio covers Ziggler and again he kicks out. Ziggler rolls through the Cross Armbreaker into a Famasser. Del Rio counters the Zig Zag and locks him in the Cross Armbreaker this time and Ziggler taps out.

Winner: Alberto Del Rio via Pinfall

Match of the night definitely. This has been one of the best Smackdown matches I have seen in a very long time. I miss when Ziggler was going after the world title. Also I really hope that Sandow cashes in on Del Rio at Battleground.

Los Matadores w/ El Torito vs. Heath Slater and Jinder Mahal

Slater lifts up Diego and takes him down and tags in Jinder. Diego tags in Fernado and they both hit a body drop on Jinder. Jinder is hit with a hurricanrana and then Diego comes back in. Jinder possums in Diego and then takes him down. Slater is tagged in and they both hit him to take him down. Diego does a headstand on the turnbuckle into a flip kick on Slater. Jinder and Fernando come in and Fernando hits a neckbreaker and climbs the rope. Fernando hits a fist drop and then they both lift up Jinder and drop him and cover him for the victory.

Winners: Los Matadores via Pinfall

Does it even matter? Of course they were gonna win.

El Torito hits a crossbody on Jinder and Heath Slater.

Backstage: Paul Heyman, Curtis Axel and Ryback are being interviewed. Heyman says that R-Truth’s belief that he is winning the Intercontinental Championship is nothing but fiction. CM Punk will be destroyed by Ryback according to Heyman.

Aksana vs. Brie Bella w/Nikki Bella

Brie takes down Aksana quick with a clothesline and then a dropkick. Brie hits a kick to the face of Aksana on the ground. Aksana counters by tripping Brie into the rope. Aksana with two elbow drops and then a cover but a kick out from Brie. Aksana weirdly slinks around Brie and hits her with a forearm. Brie fights back with a few punches and then a kick. Brie sends Aksana face first into the mat and covers her for the victory.

Winner: Brie Bella via Pinfall

No way Brie wins that title at Battleground right? Right? AJ just can’t drop it now, especially not to her.

AJ comes out and tells Brie that she will do the same thing to her that Randy Orton did to Daniel Bryan on Raw so they can go run off and get married and have a baby.

Big E Langston vs. Kofi Kingston

[youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fd8AnhgqJWg]

Winner: Kofi Kingston via Pinfall

Out comes the Wyatts and Kofi is surrounded by them. Bray says some stuff and then says that he will beat Kofi at Battleground and again it cuts to black.

They show a clip of what happened on Raw with the Rhodes Family.

Big Show vs. The Shield and Randy Orton

Big Show starts off beating on Dean Ambrose. Show with a headbutt and then a scoop slam. Rollins is tagged in. Rollins tries to dance around to get out-of-the-way of Big Show but it doesn’t work. Rollins is taken down then Show steps on him. Big Show throws Rollins into his corner and then Reigns is tagged in. Big Show takes Reigns out with a shoulder tackle. Reigns tags in Randy Orton. Orton gets a few kicks in on Show but then Show nails him with a punch and then the chop to the chest. Show takes down Ambrose but then Orton tags in Rollins. Rollins nails Big Show with repetitive kicks. Reigns is tagged in and then Orton. Reigns holds Show for Orton so he can stomp on Show and then a jumping knee drop. Big Show grabs Orton for a chokeslam but Orton reverses with a DDT. Reigns is tagged in, and he slams Show on the mat. Show fights back with shoulder tackles and then a spear on Reigns. Show takes them all down until Rollins takes him down and everyone piles on him. Big Sow throws them all off. Big Show KO punches a chair in Rollins hand and The Shield and Orton are DQ’ed.

WInner: Big Show via DQ.

Show is preoccupied and is speared by Reigns and RKO’d by Orton.  Orton sets the chair on Show but out come The Usos to fight off the Shield and then here’s Bryan. Daniel Bryan is all over Orton. Bryan locks in the Yes Lock only to be hit by Ambrose. Bryan kicks Ambrose in the head then hits him with “The Move that Beat John Cena and Randy Orton.” Bryan shouts Yes to end Smackdown.
